Archiving
Have you found the diaries of a long-dead aunt in the attic or did you take photos of the 2019 women's strike? Are you a member of the board of an association, a group, a professional organisation or a cooperative? Have you been entrusted with an estate or are you in the process of organising your own personal documents? Are you unsure which documents to keep or how to store your electronic files?
Archive advice
The Gosteli Archive will be happy to support and advise you and check your request for archiving. We provide tips on the ideal storage of paper documents or audiovisual records and on electronic archiving. Contact us and tell us about your archive.
Incorporating archives
We incorporate the archives of women's organisations, both national and local, and we archive documents from collectives and campaigns as well as the estates of individuals. To enable us to assess whether your materials are suitable for our collection, we would be grateful for as detailed a description of your documents as possible (scope, content, organisation, state of preservation).
In the event of a transfer to the archive, we will jointly define the modalities in a donation agreement. Once the materials have been handed over, they are organised, repackaged in boxes suitable for long-term storage and added to our online database so that they can be found by researchers and interested members of the public.
Please note: we do not accept unannounced deliveries. Please do not bring any documents to us unannounced.
